Photo Story



This carousel model lays out what is being worked for by all of the volunteers.




The three main carvers work at different stages on the animals.







Here a volunteer carver works to carve the head of what will eventually be the animal Berry. You can see his dedication by how beat up his hands are



This retired old teacher wears an apron with the names of his students decorating it. He carefully carves pieces for the new cow piece. He says it takes upwards of 5 years just to get to that stage of the cow and painting may take another 5-10 years.


Here is the final product of all the hardworking volunteers at the Albany Carousal. Years of work is put into each animal but the final product makes it worth it.
